Speaker 1 - Chris Dark

Chris creates art that blurs the line between photography and digital painting. His work is a testament to the harmony of dreams and reality, skillfully blending layered techniques to construct surreal, immersive landscapes. His works have been exhibited across Australia and are included in esteemed collections such as the Capella Hotels and Resorts art collection, as well as earned multiple awards on the global stage, cementing his place as a leader in contemporary art.

Before ideas are seen, they are felt. Join Chris as he delivers insights on how he tunes into his intuition and how it shapes ideas well before they are fully understood. Speaker 2 - Karen McGlue

Karen is photographer and educator, passionate about helping others discover their creative skills and potential. As founder of DEVELOP Photography Skills, she leverages extensive experience in both domestic and commercial photography, complemented by formal qualifications from North Metropolitan TAFE and Curtin University. Karen’s teaching approach is warm, practical, and interactive, guiding photographers of all levels—from beginners to those wanting to shift their perspective—towards meaningful growth, confidence, and growth in their craft.

As the owner of Soundbaker Studios, he has collaborated with international artists, including Dido, Ronan Keating, and Deborah Cox, contributing to projects that have achieved global recognition. Rob's dedication to crafting original music and his commitment to delivering high-quality production have established him as a respected figure in the Australian music industry.

Speaker 4 - Kelly Barker

As an artistic photographer, Kelly enjoys bringing together the technical and creative side of photography. She has built a reputation of creativity, holding prestigious accolades from the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and Pro Photography WA. With decades of experience Kelly has developed and honed her idea generation strategies is able to visually represent surreal and idealistic compositions.

Your Subconscious Creative Process

Kelly has honed and developed her idea generation strategies and processes and will share with you simple ways to tap into your own subconscious to generate your creative concepts. She will guide you in practical uses and techniques in an interactive workshop based session. Weather you feel you are burnt out of ideas, or simply don’t feel you are reaching your creative potential, join us for a whole day of creativity and inspiration.

Speaker 5 - Neil Elliott

Painter, sculptor & artist mentor Neil Elliott is a multi award winning painter and sculptor. In 2016 Neil won the Packers’ Prize at the Perth Royal Show. In 2017 he was awarded a state-wide touring exhibition of his sculptures with ART ON THE MOVE. Neil also mentors artist with disabilities and runs artist workshops throughout WA.
